Radical Digital Painting: Pg. 12/24

In Denmark I saw some Emil Nolde watercolors and remembered how much I had loved looking at them in art school at Ringling. Inspired by their size and intimacy, I was trying to recreate it.

This astronaut explores an alien desert planet. The palette reminds me of Morandi who is a painter I appreciate for texture and subtle tonality.

A side scrolling kid blows away a flower with a gun, saying: cute style! BUT DIE MOTHERFUCKER. Jealous much?

Numbers basically just battling one another in some metaverse thing. People morph in there so it's hard to tell sometimes!

Some idea of a political poster in the future. The eye on the right refers to the stochasticism graphic I invented. The top reads: Hack The Sister

While painting this I would invert the picture back and forth using keyboard shortcuts without ever having to change my brush color. It makes for a great exercise.

One character asks another to smell their shape. This piece was painted by inverted the canvas colors back and forth. Everyone's angry here.

A chaotic narrative where the first of four panels time travels and speaks to the last one for the punch.

Friends walk around in a 1 bit landscape that also forms a giant figure.

A 1 bit giant is consistently losing and gaining resolution.
